Stardust observation on Jan. 15 in the Utah desert

The Stardust observation mission flight will take place the early morning of Sunday, Jan. 15, 2006.
NASA DC-8 aircraft on the 'Stardust observation rehearsal flights,"
Wednesday, Jan 11 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. PST, and
Thursday, Jan. 12, from 11:45 p.m. PST to Jan. 13, 3:30 a.m. PST.

On Jan. 15 in the Utah desert, barring a mishap, they will have another. The first-ever mission to fly to deep space and steal samples from one of these cosmic travelers will be returning home.
